Horseshoe Cienega Lake
(White Mountain Apache Reservation)
Located west of Greer, Horseshoe Cienega
Lake is accessed via Highway 260 and is at an elevation of 8,000 feet.
There are several family camp units available. There is safe drinking water
along with fishing and boating activities. The managed Season is April to
November. A store and boat rentals are available in season. Trailers are
accommodated. Stays are limited to 10 days. Horseshoe Cienega Lake has areas
for the physically challenged to fish and enjoy their vacation. This is a fee
area and permits are required from the White Mountain Apache Tribe. You may
