Route:
Drive 6 miles
north of Alpine on U.S. 191 (formerly U.S. 666). Turn west on FR 56 and follow
it up and around Terry Flat Loop and back to the highway. Total distance round
trip from Alpine is 27 miles. Driving time is about 1 to 2 hours.
