The Larson Memorial Public Library has
been located in Pinetop - Lakeside, Arizona since the 1930's. With support
and dedication of the community we have been able to add many new commodities
to our library.
We not only have 20,000 books, but we now have computers
with Internet access, cassettes, periodicals, and much, much, more! Weekly
activities include computer classes and story time. Our library has always
been a place to read and study but we are also desiring to teach others as
well. Many have never been on a computer or the Internet. In order to assist
them we have set up classes to be held once a week that teaches how to get
around a computer and surf the web.
We are also currently involved in developing an online
card-catalog database so you can search not only Larson Memorial Public Library
but the entire Navajo county public libraries on the Internet! |
What can you do at the Larson Library besides read? We are
glad you asked! The Larson Library is dedicated to providing not only books but
a wide variety of education materials. We have the Internet, cassette tapes,
magazines, computer classes.
We are located on 1595 E. Johnson Dr. The best way to find
us is to turn north at the Woodland Rd. and 260 intersection. Then make a left
at the 4-way stop and you run right into us. |
